HELLO PEOPLE HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?
Hope things are going fine for all of you! Sooo basically my last journal was uploaded May last year so I thought HEY maybe I should get back into the swing of things so have a boring life update? I guess?
Last year in June, after 6 months of job hunting and a mini-job at a bakery, I got my first full time job as a graphic designer. I work for a small advertisement agency (no seriously SMALL we are like 3 people, two designers) but we work for some major (and minor) newspaper publishers in Germany. So that's pretty cool, especially after such a long time of pressure from all around me to finally find myself a job, since apparently people around me didn't understand that I really really needed some time to think about what I want to do with my life career-wise?
This pressure has kept me from drawing a lot during that time since every time I started to draw I started to feel horrible for not looking for a job at this exact moment. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU HELP SOMEONE WHO HAS A HARD TIME HANDLING PRESSURE. The pressure made me close up to everything, my mom kept forwarding me job openings that she wanted me to apply to and all of my family and my moms friends KEPT asking me to "finally get a job" like, NO. No. I've only just gotten out of school. I need some time for myself before I get a full on job. I need time to think about what I want to do.
The times I DID sit down to apply for jobs were when I WAS READY. And in the end, that is what got me my job, because I was actually motivated to look up a job opening that SUITED ME and wrote up a good application that suited the job.
OKAY SO ONTO ART STUFF
I've... been drawing lots of cats? I started listening to the Warrior Cats audiobooks recently and even though they aren't exactly genius literature, they're still A LOT OF FUN to read because hey, CATS.
So yeah, theres lots of cat art going on right now, but I haven't uploaded everything on deviantArt.
